The NHS is full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things and many of them were featured in our book or on our campaign website.
More than 230 trusts took part in the campaign, holding art exhibitions using our postcards and campaign materials and contributing to our online galleries of extraordinary people and 60th anniversary celebrations.
Sixty NHS staff from around the country were featured in our book, titled 'extraordinary', representing a snapshot of the NHS in its 60th year. It captured NHS staff through photos, quotes and stories, with a focus on what makes them proud.
