As Director General of Workforce since January 2007, Clare is responsible for workforce issues in the NHS and social care system. She has more than 20 years' personnel experience in the UK, USA and Europe. Her previous roles include Group Personnel Director at Tesco, Vice President of Human Resources at Pepsi Cola International’s Central Europe Operations offices, and Dean of Quaker University at Quaker Oats Incorporated.
