Paul has adopted an innovative approach to improving ambulance services in England with a desire to emulate and exceed international best practice. This has involved re-engineering traditional systems and processes, as well as embracing new technology and innovative ways of working, to improve the care provided to patients.
The success of Paul’s approach has been highly dependent on strong clinical leadership, as well as an unequivocal focus on what the patient needs from the service and the tools staff require to meet this need. Paul chairs the national Ambulance Diversity Forum.
