Brought to you by the NHS Staff Council, the conference will focus on:

  • understanding the implications of the recent Hartley –v- Northumbria employment tribunal judgement in the context of best practice at local level
  • emphasising the importance of working in partnership between management and staff side trade union representatives.

What are the benefits of attending:

  • Allowing delegates to learn and share best practice in job evaluation procedures and processes, which will lower the risk of equal pay claims
  • Emphasising that working in partnership is the best way of achieving results which will be jointly owned by management and staff
  • Giving delegates a chance to assess the learning points for them from the recent Hartley –v- Northumbria Employment Tribunal judgement by hearing from people who were involved for the respondents.
