A better NHSemployers.org
NHSemployers.org has over 90,000 unique visitors per month so it’s important we ensure you are getting the content and experience you need. The research we carried out in summer 2010 had a fantastic response with over 2,000 of you having your say.
We've listened to what you told us and have made some significant improvements the site - outlined in detail below.
You told us that you come to our site regularly and that NHSemployers.org was relevant to your work, but only 38% of you found the website easy to navigate. So, we've developed new ways for you to navigate the site. A new navigation bar, created at the top of the website, highlights the content under themes you told us were relevant for you. We've also improved the navigation to the left of the site, to make it easier for you to see where you are in the site and navigate through the sections you most need.
You told us that you want easier access to content, in a way that is more tailored to your role. 90% of you said you were either a workforce leader or a HR practitioner.
So, we've made it easier for you to find the content developed specifically for your role, striaght from the home page. We've also created separate new home pages for workforce leaders and HR practitioners. These pages enable you to:

Easily see the latest publications, events and announcements that are relevant to the role you are in.
We'll be highlighting our key information in a new animated and interactive space at the very top of our homepage to give you immediate access to content, publications, announcements and events to support you through the significant challenges you and your organisation are facing.
When we update important information, T&Cs or guidance we’ll highlight these updates for you in a new clearly labelled area on our homepage, helping to keep you up to date with policy changes.
Realising our search page was one of the most popular pages used by you, has helped us to understand we needed to make improvements to the way you can search our site.
We've made technical changes, which will allow us to greatly improve the accuracy and relevance of search results and our new search facility will display results in a more user friendly way.
