hospital signsIt starts with an audit tool, which asks you a series of questions on equality and diversity issues for staff. 

The tool will give you a broad overview of how your organisation is doing and identify some areas where you may want to do more work.  It will also point you to further guidance and case studies to help you. 

When you have completed your initial audit, look at the more detailed baseline assessment, which will give you the in-depth information you need to shape your equality and diversity objectives and action plans.
