Monitoring and evaluation 

Your action plan should have clear milestones to achieve your objectives that you need to review on an ongoing basis.

As a minimum, this should be done annually in line with your organisation’s annual business planning process, to ensure that you are still on the right track. At this stage you will:

  • review where you are against your action plans and overall objectives and update key internal stakeholders on progress, recognising the organisation’s achievements
  • revise existing plans or develop new ones as required, depending on where you are now
  • get internal buy-in and start the implementation process for your plans
