Where do you want to get to 

This section is about determining where you want to be on equality and diversity given the results of your baseline assessment and the broader strategic aims for your organisation.

It will help you address questions such as:

  • What are the current local policies and practices? How successful are they?
  • What are the demographics of the community your organisation serves compared to the demographics of the workforce?
  • How is your organisation currently addressing national policy requirements?
  • How does the current picture, emerging from the baseline assessment, compare with the strategic vision of where your organisation wants, or needs, to be?

1. Identifying the equality and diversity objectives and outcomes
2. Setting the objectives and outcomes
3. Defining gaps and measures
4. Getting buy-in

At the end of this section you will have identified your objectives to meet the desired outcomes.
