The newly updated document, published in October 2010, aims to help trusts by pulling together legal requirements and best practice and providing practical pointers and signposts on meeting the requirements for the key areas of occupational health and safety.
Following the Occupational Health and Safety Standards will help trusts to both meet their legal obligations and to protect both staff and patients.
