NHS Employers are seeking employer representatives to fill vacancies on the NHS Staff Council. We are looking for senior NHS managers with a strategic knowledge of the service, human resources and financial issues. It is important that employer views are represented on these forums and our aim is to try to ensure that employer representation on these groups reflects diversity of management interests in the NHS and geographical spread to ensure that members come from different parts of the country. Formed in partnership with trade unions, the NHS Staff Council was established by the Agenda for Change agreement, and has overall responsibility for operating the new pay system and the related NHS-wide terms and conditions of service. The NHS Staff Council meets three times a year in central London. In order to ensure that the balance of membership on the different groups is right, we will take account of:

Please note that our expectation is that the costs of travelling expenses for attending meetings will ordinarily be met by your employing organisation.
