![]() NHS Employers hosted the national 'Engage, involve, improve: making NHS staff engagement a reality' event on 15 July at the Victoria Park Plaza, London. Over 300 delegates, from a range of NHS and stakeholder organisations, attended the sell-out event - a clear message that staff engagement is high on the agenda. Summary of the conferenceThe event was opened by Health minister, Ann Keen MP and focused on the top priorities facing NHS organisations, giving delegates an understanding of how staff engagement underpins the next stage review (NSR), world class commissioning agendas and supports the drive for change in the NHS. Interactive workshop sessions covered NHS values, partnership working, the NHS staff survey, and communications. There were also workshops, enabling delegates to discuss and share ideas, experience and learning from their relevant sectors. Feedback received from attendees has been extremely positive, with an overwhelming majority stating that they found the event a valuable experience and will do something different in their work as a result of attending.
