Press release: NHS Employers responds to the final report of the independent inquiry into MMC, led by Sir John Tooke.

We have received Sir John's final report today and are considering carefully its implications for employers across the NHS.  

We must now wait for the Government to respond to Sir John's recommendations and decide on the way forward for medical training.

We will continue to act on behalf of employers in ensuring that, in taking forward any of the recommendations, we deliver what is truly best for patients, employers and the long term future of our medical workforce.
