Press release: NHS Employers' responds to the announcement that the RCN and UNISON have accepted the proposed three-year pay deal.06 Jun 2008 Gill Bellord, Director of Pay, Pensions and Employment Relations at NHS Employers, said: "NHS Employers is very pleased that the RCN and UNISON, the two largest health unions, have accepted the proposed three-year pay deal. "We believe this deal will provide stability which will benefit the NHS, its staff and patients, and it is encouraging that RCN and Unison members, as well as the Society of Radiographers, have endorsed the agreement reached between union negotiators and NHS Employers. "We would like to see these arrangements implemented as soon as is practical and will be talking to the unions and DH about issuing a pay circular to achieve this." Notes for editors
