NHS Flu fighter

Flu bugs and mugs

NHS Employers works in partnership with Public Health England, supported by the Department of Health, to deliver the national seasonal flu campaign for NHS staff. Each year, we provide employers with tools and resources that will help them run an effective flu fighter campaign and support resilience plans for winter pressures.

Vaccination uptake in healthcare workers with direct patient care continues to increase, from 35 per cent in 2010/11, 45 per cent in 2011/12, 46 per cent in 2012/13 and 55 per cent in 2013/14!

We would really like to hear from you about what you're doing and how your campaign is going. Please contact us with comments and queries.

Follow @NHSFlufighter for all the latest flu updates and developments across the NHS and join the conversation adding #flufighter to all your local flu news.
