Get Energy Smart

Our campaign aims to support you and your organisation to raise awareness of the small steps NHS staff can take at work and at home to help make a difference to their energy usage.

Our free resources provide you with everything you need to run a local campaign encouraging your workforce to be more considered with their energy usage.

We aim to build awareness around the impact of small actions such as closing windows and doors, turning off equipment when not in use and installing a smart energy meter in the home to monitor energy usage.

The case for reducing our energy usage is strong and sustainable development is key to the future of the NHS and the planet.
We have developed a range of tools and resources to help you do this, including a communications toolkit, infographic, web banners and posters.

Get Energy Smart is delivered by NHS Employers in conjunction with Smart Energy GB. You can follow us on Twitter @NHSEmployers and follow the conversation using the hashtags #GetEnergySmart and #SmartMeters.

Are you using our resources? Have you had a smart meter installed? We would love to hear about your experience, please get in touch.
