OD practitioners have told us that they find evaluation to be one of their most challenging areas of their work. In response we made it one of our top five priorities and the focus of our 2015 autumn Do OD event.

These tools and resources will help you enrich your evaluation practice, leaving you feeling polished and more confident to evaluate your work.

Tools and resources

  • Our capability as practitioners is at the heart of how we evaluate. Download our OD 3P Capability model and use it as a tool to reflect on where you're currently shining, and where you might need to polish up.
  • Julian Burton, director at Delta 7 Change, has been working with us to create a new and improved Visual dialogue tool. Julian’s work is based on ten years’ experience working with organisations on change and evaluation. The tool is a conversation starter, helping you to put evaluation into action. Download the tool and use it on your own, with your team or across your organisation. Please let us know how you’re using it and how it’s working for you by emailing us at, do.od@nhsemployers.org

Following our event, Evaluating OD: Treasure the Measures, we will be adding more resources to this page, including case studies and further reading. If you have our Do OD app you'll be notified of updates straight to your phone or tablet. You can also receive updates by following us on Twitter @NHSE_DoOD or via our monthly iDoOD Bulletin.
