All community pharmacy contractors must comply with the new clinical governance requirements, introduced in October 2011. This document summarises the new and revised 'approved particulars', which come into effect on 1 July 2012, and the dates by which contractors must comply with each element of the clinical governance requirements.

Following a transition period, all contractors should now comply with the regulations. New and revised 'approved particulars' have now been published and come into effect on 1 July 2012. This document contains tables that summarise each new requirement and the approved particulars, as well as the specific actions required and dates when the actions must be completed by.
