Community pharmacy services - briefing for GP practices

16 / 09 / 2015

In 2013 the Professional Relationships Working Group published a briefing for GP practices on changes to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF).

The briefing outlined the changes to the pharmacy contract in 2011/12 and how the New Medicines Service (NMS) and targeted Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) work. Please note that this briefing does not include changes to MURs for 2014/15 (including an increase in the target to 70 per cent and an additional target group for patients with cardiovascular disease and/or risk factors). It also does not include details of the new seasonal influenza vaccinations advanced service introduced in 2015.
