Our guidance 'Rapid access to treatment and rehabilitation for NHS staff' is aimed at trust boards making decisions about how to manage rapid access services for staff in their organisation.

Rapid access is a system which will secure rehabilitation and occupational health treatment for NHS employees with a view to facilitating a return to work which is, as fast as practical, and reasonable. It is an excellent way of helping staff stay in work for longer and keep well, as well as helping staff return to work sooner.

For an in-depth case study on rapid access to physiotherapy, see our 'Evaluating health and wellbeing interventions report.'
