This report provides the first evaluation data and analysis for our creating a mentally healthy workplace line manager training programme.
The training programme involved a roll out of six 'train the trainer' sessions training 89 line managers to roll out the programme locally at their trusts. From this, up until the point this data was collected, 461 delegates had been trained in creating a mentally healthy workplace. These trainers responded to the training well with:
- 94 per cent of delegates found the training relevant to their jobs
- 92 per cent of delegates are keen to apply what they have learned on the training
- 89 per cent of delegates thought the planned objectives were met
- 93 per cent of delegates enjoyed the training
These reactions are indicators of the commitment of the trainers who participated in this project and worked hard to make this project a success.
On the basis of the evaluation results within this report, it is clear to see that the training is continuing to have an extremely positive impact. Delegates rate the training as highly relevant to their job role and they also report an increased level of motivation to transfer their learning to their workplace.
