This report provides a full evaluation report of data from the supportive leadership and management behaviour training programme trainers up until May 2016. At the point of this evaluation collection, 97 trainers from over 50 trusts have been trained to deliver the course locally across their organisation to line managers.
The results show that it can be seen the training itself is valuable and valued by delegates. Delegates awareness of supportive and unsupportive manager behaviours is increased by a significant change in scores post-training, however, this seems to be undone after time back in the usual work environment. This shows delegates are influenced by the norms and behaviours and shows the importance of the work environment in the successful transfer of learning in training.
Continuous evaluation data is provided by the trained trainers and interim report are published quarterly with an update.
