Choice 2 - making the most of pre-2015 benefits

Approximately 500,000 eligible members of the 1995 section without full protection under the 2015 Pension Scheme arrangement will be offered the opportunity to re-consider their original Choice and to transfer their service into the 2008 section. Each eligible member will receive a personalised Choice 2 letter via their employer. This letter will introduce Choice 2 and set out what the member should consider.

Designed for employers, the webinar will provide you with more information on Choice 2 and any actions you need to take. With speakers from NHS Employers, NHS Pensions and employing organisations, this will be an informative session designed to help your understanding. An expert panel will also be available to answer your questions.

Employer speaker - Bryan Logan, pensions account manager at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, will be providing an employer insight into how his Trust is preparing for Choice 2.

Trade union speaker - Nicola Lee, employment relations adviser at the Royal College of Nursing will talk about how this exercise can be delivered in partnership with trade union colleagues.

If you have any queries or would like to speak to somebody about your booking, please contact the events team on 0844 8005987.
