23 / 10 / 2014 9.45am - 23 / 10 / 2014 4pm
Event start time: 9.45 am - Finish time: 4pm
This event will see the official launch of the East Midlands Streamlining Programme.
Following on from the initial London Streamlining Programme, the East Midlands HRD Network have now formally established a regional team. The team will ensure that HR processes within the East Midlands can be streamlined, through collaborative working, sharing best practice nationally and working together to challenge current ways of doing things by constantly looking for improvements to our process.
The main areas of focus within the East Midlands programme are split into four key workstreams:
• Occupational Health
• Medical Staffing
• Statutory and Mandatory Training
All staff that have been nominated to be involved with the Streamlining Programme are encouraged to attend to ensure that they understand the regional vision, meet with key team members and are able to contribute to their workstreams. If lead roles are unable to attend, then please encourage a member of your team to attend on your behalf to ensure that your trusts and departments are fully briefed about the programme.
In addition to the four workstreams and central to the programme, Streamlining will be supported by nominated Leads for Electronic Staff Records (ESR) and Workforce Information from each trust, who are also encouraged to attend the day.
The morning will include a variety of speakers and will provide plenty of opportunity to raise questions and learn from trusts who have gone through the Streamlining experience.
In the afternoon you will break out into your dedicated workstream groups and attend your initial project team meeting, working with your Executive Champion and colleagues from across your region. You will also be supported by colleagues from the West Midlands, who will be there to share their experiences and lessons learnt, so you can begin to understand and plan the priorities for your Streamlining Project Team.
The ESR Leads will be supported by the East Midlands Programme’s Data Analyst, Regional ESR Account Managers and colleagues from the West Midlands, to enable them to plan how they can ensure that the use of ESR is fully maximised, explored and understood by the workstreams.
