NHS Employers 'Staff Experience Summit'
The aim of the Summit is to bring together senior leaders across the Midlands and East area to share ideas and knowledge in improving staff experience. The event will be focusing on the key NHS workforce challenges of staff engagement and workforce supply.
The day will provide opportunities to hear from organisations that have implemented successful staff engagement approaches and share your own experiences and ideas. There will also be updates on national policy developments and the work programme for NHS Employers.
Confirmed speakers for the day include:
- Professor Dame Carol Black, Expert Adviser, Department of Health
- Sue Covill, Director of Employment Services, NHS Employers
- Steven Weeks, Policy Advisor, NHS Employers
- Caroline Waterfield, Assistant Director of Employment Services, NHS Employers
- Jeremy Dawson, Lecturer, University of Sheffield
Improved staff experience has been shown to have a positive impact on patient care and organisational outcomes but is a challenging agenda in the current financial context. We hope that you will be able to join us to share ideas and shape solutions.
This event is designed to bring together senior leaders and you are therefore invited to nominate up to two Board level attendees. In addition, if you would like to showcase your own experience or have an issue you would like to see on the agenda of the event please let us know.
To book please send your nominations to Louise Murray by 30th September 2014 firstname.lastname@example.org
