The North of England Social Partnership Forum (SPF) is a regional network that brings together local health management, staff side representatives and arm’s-length bodies. The group meets twice a year to facilitate partnership working on regional workforce priorities, in the context of national challenges and developments.
This conference will focus on shifting the balance of care from hospital to community, the pressures on the workforce and financial constraints around this, and the new roles that are being developed to support the new ways of working. There will be representatives from NHS trusts presenting work they have already done to tackle some of these issues, with the aim of sharing their learning and best practice.
Who is the meeting for?
The conference will bring together regional trade union officials, directors of HR and their deputies, directors of finance, commissioners, STP workforce leads and other local stakeholders with an interest in the themes outlined above.
