Top 100 nursing employers

NHS Employers and the Nursing Times jointly announced the third NT Top 100 awards on 31 March, recognising excellent health sector employers as voted by their nursing staff.

Sunderland Teaching PCT has maintained its top spot this year and the independent sector has performed strongly again, but NHS organisations have fared better than they did in 2007.

Strong leadership is a common theme among the winners and NHS Employers encourages trusts to learn from the good practice the top 100 employers have demonstrated, to make improvements in their own organisations.
