Introduction to Positively Diverse

Positively Diverse helps organisations manage equality and diversity through organisational cultural change. This page gives a broad overview of what the Positively Diverse programme is and how it can support organisations.

The Positively Diverse programme builds on good and best practice, and enables organisations to embrace equality and diversity in both its strategic planning and in day-to-day practice. It aims to improve the working lives of staff, and through staff, provide better care for patients, users and carers.

The Positively Diverse vision is to ensure that the workplace 'is a place where all staff feel valued, enabled and have the right to a fair and equitable quality of working life; where the differences between individuals is embraced and the benefits that diversity brings are valued'.
