NHS England is calling all nurses, midwives and Care Makers delivering the 6Cs – care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment - to get involved in its first 6Cs Live! Week of Action.
Throughout the year the 6Cs Live! team will be running week-long events on different themes to celebrate success as well as offer nurses, midwives and care staff from all settings the chance to learn and get support. This is a great opportunity to engage with experts and clinical teams sharing their experiences of developing improvement and delivering excellent care through the 6Cs.
The first week begins on Monday 19 August and will focus on Delivering High Quality Care and Measuring Impact. The key themes for the week include transparency in care, investing in behaviours and measuring impact.
There will be the opportunity to take part in a twitter chat on #wenurses on Thursday 22 August and one of three webinars taking place during the week:
• Transparency in Care – Wednesday 21 August at 2pm
• Investing in Behaviour – Thursday 22 August at 2pm
• Metrics and Measurement – Friday 23 August at 2pm
If you’re new to webinars then the 6Cs Live! team are running a number of ‘getting started’ sessions which will only take 30 minutes. Find more and how to register.
