At last year's summit, Chief Nursing Officer for England, Jane Cummings launched the Care Maker programme.  This year, Jane would like more than  50 Care Makers to attend this invitation-only event, to highlight the role of Care Makers and introduce you to top NHS leaders.

We are looking for 20 Care Makers to attend on each day of the two-day event, which is being held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 26 and 27 November 2013. We are looking for 20 Care Makers to attend on day one and a further 20 on day two. We are also looking for an additional 12 to act as logistical support across both days.

As Care Makers from cohort 1( those of you that became Care Makers prior to September 2013)  have already been to the CNO Summit before, we are looking to cohort 1 Care Makers to provide logistical support across the two-day event.

Delegate places are open to Care Makers from cohorts 2 and 3, who have not yet been to the CNO Summit. As a delegate you will join NHS leaders in attending seminars, workshops, networking and plenary sessions.

We will provide travel to and from the event, as well as accommodation the night before the event and evening activities for you to network with your fellow Care Makers. We will also be running webinars in advance of the event to brief you on what to expect, the best sessions to attend and what to bring to the summit.

If you are from cohort 1 and would like to provide support for the event, we would love you to be involved in:

  • Manning the registration desk
  • Directing delegates to sessions
  • Supporting social media activity and helping delegates get their foot on the twitter ladder
