Make your health visiting students count in 2015

10 / 10 / 2013 11.27am

We know employers are working hard to grow and develop their health visiting workforce, in line with the government's Health Visitor Implementation Plan 2011–15, A Call to Action

The students that have just started their courses, and those due to start in January 2014 will be the last to qualify that will be able to count towards your final workforce figures in 2015. Our updated briefing Health Visitor employment: from training to practice - a guide for employers (first published in 2012) outlines a model you can use to help you meet your trajectories by offering these students employment at the point of training.

This briefing is one in a series of resources we have developed to support you achieve workforce growth and development.
