Nursing Times have published the results of a recent survey which shows that more than half of nurses are intending to get their flu jab this year.

The survey asked 2,155 respondents whether they are intending to get their annual flu jab, 55% said they intended to get vaccinated, while 35% said they did not. A further 10% said they were unsure.

With nurses, midwives and care staff forming the largest staff body within the NHS and social care, it's great to see so many taking action to prevent the spread of flu. As well as taking action to protect themselves, they also help to protect their colleagues, family and patients.
