Public Health England reports that 318,335 frontline staff were vaccinated between 1 September and 31 October 2013. This is 75,575 (31 per cent) more than the 242,760 staff vaccinated in the same period last year.

The Public Health England website shows the September and October figures for individual trust uptake, and national uptake, which has  increased to 35 per cent, in comparison to 28.4 per cent at the same time last year. These figures refer only to frontline healthcare worker uptake, as per the data submitted by organisations to ImmForm.

New cumulative uptake figures for frontline healthcare worker flu vaccination will be published monthly by Public Health England. The next sets of figures are due to be released in December.
