The campaign will be run in partnership with the NHS Employers organisation, Alcohol Concern and Public Health England.
We'll be working together to provide support, top tips, ideas and words of encouragement to NHS staff and volunteers who'd like to take part. We hope that NHS staff will feel encouraged and supported to take part - plus pass on the go Dry in January message to their friends and families. We'll be supporting trusts to get involved as part of a pilot scheme.
Through our network of local health and wellbeing leads, HR directors, Care Makers, PFD champions, Flu Fighters and Do ODs, we hope to promote the campaign and give staff the tools to lead the way - sharing their advice and top tips through social media. Work to promote the campaign will begin in the run up to January, and resources will be made available free of charge to staff and employers.
Fancy being involved in the pilot?
We're looking for a small number of trusts to get involved. We'll provide you with free resources to help you along the way and to plan the perfect Dry January campaign.
