The unemployment rate for 16 to 24-year-olds is a growing concern, with many young people facing long-term unemployment.

NHS Employers encourages organisations within the NHS to help young people get into work. In turn this benefits the NHS by helping to build a skilled and dedicated workforce for the future, as well as helping employers to demonstrate commitment to their corporate social responsibility strategy, by engaging with local communities.
