Employing young people

09 / 12 / 2013 11.12am

The world of work is much more complicated and demanding than it was a decade ago, even people with strong qualifications are finding it more difficult to find their feet in the labour market. Young people are quite often stereotyped and the benefits of recruiting young people are often overshadowed by myths.

In our new podcast our panel discuss:

  • how employers can make their recruitment more youth friendly
  • some of the benefits of employing young people
  • some useful resources available to employers.

The panel includes: Gill Bellord - Director of Employment Relations and Reward; Dr Anthony Mann - Director of Policy and Research at the Education and Employers Taskforce; Laura Mangan, Head of Projects for the Education Charity Brightside

We hope you find the podcast informative.
