Former UKBA website content moving to GOV.UK

18 / 2 / 2014 9am

Over the past couple of months the Home Office has been carrying out a review of the former UK Border Agency (UKBA) website content. Following the Government's decision last year to bring Government services into one place, the Home Office is working to ensure that information is much more user friendly, in line with the GOV.UK website.

What this means for employers

You may have already noticed that much of the old UKBA content is now available on GOV.UK, and shortly the Home Office will be completing the transfer. Once this has taken place, the former UKBA website will be archived.

Helpful resource

To help you prepare for these changes, the Home Office has produced a briefing which provides information on GOV.UK and how information can be found.

Further support

Transition to the new site will be assisted by automatic redirects, directing you to the most appropriate content on GOV.UK. If you have any questions or feedback, the Home Office have set up a dedicated email address

We will ensure our web pages are updated with the new links, as transfer to the new site takes place.
