Fee changes for visas, immigration and sponsorship applications

The Home Office has published details of changing fees for visas, immigration and nationality applications and Tier 2 sponsors. 

Key changes

The key changes employers should be aware of are as follows:

  • Reduction in the cost of a Tier 2 Large Sponsor Licence from £1,545 to £1,476
  • Cost of Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) stays the same. 
  • Increase in the cost of Tier 2 (general) applications from £494 to £514.
  • Reduced fee for Tier 2 applications related to shortage occupations.
