On Friday 4th July NHS England will hold an event for senior NHS and social care leaders, clinical and non-clinical, in conjunction with the Clinical Leaders Network, to share learning about embedding the values and behaviours of the 6Cs to improve patient and staff experience.
The 6Cs are the values and behaviours of Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment. These values have been shaped by front line staff, the people we care for and their carers. The 6Cs are contributing to a significant social movement of cultural change across the NHS and social care to improve the way we provide care for people.
The event will take place on 4 July 2014 at Central Hall Westminster, 9am - 6pm and is aimed at:
- National, regional and area team directors
- Trust Chief Executives and Senior Management Teams
- CCG Directors
- Senior Nurses
- Senior Directors of all NHS Directorates
- Chief Executives of Partnership Organisations and Stakeholders
- Clinical Leaders Network Members
- Heads of NHS Suppliers and contracted organisations
For more information and to register for this event visit the event page on the NHS England website.
