Adapting to an older workforce? Be part of the research project

NHS Working longer review

09 / 7 / 2014 11.32am

The NHS Working Longer Group is looking for organisations to take part in a research project looking at the impact of an older workforce on employers, staff and service delivery.

Being involved in the project will offer valuable insight into the impact of working longer on different groups of staff and provide the opportunity to contribute to informing policy agendas on managing older workers in the NHS.

You can find further information on what your participation will involve in the specification

The group is supporting the research of Extending working lives in the NHS: Opportunities, challenges and prospects , which has received funding from the 'Lifelong health and wellbeing extending working lives: research partnership awards'. This is a longitudinal study which is due to be completed in 2018.
