Compassion in Practice 6Cs Live! week of action, was hosted by the national Nursing Support team at NHS England, with a range of opportunities to be involved which included webinars, blogs and Twitter chats. 

Monday 21st July 2014 

‘Compassion in Practice: The story so far’ webinar 4pm – 5pm with Juliet Beal, Director of Nursing: Quality Improvement and Care. Now available to download.

Twitter chat led by @NHSYouthForum 7pm – 8pm on what the 6Cs mean to them and how professionals can ensure they deliver compassion care consistently to young people.

Tuesday 22nd July 2014 

‘Making a difference - the Care Maker way’ webinar   3pm-4pm  Find out how Care Makers are supporting Compassion in Practice and the 6Cs. Presented by Care Makers Sam Wallace and Rose North.

Wednesday 23rd July 2014

‘Positive and Safe’ Compassion webinar  11am – 12noon chaired by Ben Thomas, Mental Health, Learning Disability and Dementia Care Professional Officer, Department of Health, and presented by Hazel Watson, Head of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, NHS England.  

‘Nurses a vital source for health’ webinar – 7pm – 8pm Denise Thiruchelvam and Josephine Johnson, Public Health Managers, NHS England (National) Commissioning and Health Improvement Team. 

Thursday 24th July

‘Improving Postnatal Care’ webinar
 2pm - 3pm with the Royal College of Midwives and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.  

Friday 25th July 

The safe impact of the 6Cs' webinar  1.30pm – 2.30pm with Adrian Spanswick Consultant / Designated Nurse Safeguarding Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group.
