Find out how a successful partnership with Jobcentre Plus (JCP) is helping North Bristol Trust (NBT) access its local pool of talented young people to give them work experience and apprenticeship opportunities in our latest case study. The JCP has helped the trust to source and recruit the unemployed young people with a particular focus on 16-18 year olds.
The partnership with JCP helps cut the amount of time the trust spends on recruiting as the JCP advertises the roles on its Universal Jobmatch website, sifts the applications received, and then passes the trust a batch of good applications. The trust then shortlists and conducts informal interviews which are held in conjunction with JCP.
The trust has seen real benefits to working alongside JCP to better engage with young people and the programme has enabled those not in employment, education or training (NEET) to progress to opportunities they wouldn’t normally have been able to access.
