A partnership between Skills for Health Academy North West (SfHANW) and the Jobcentre Plus (JCP) is helping local unemployed adults, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, to attain skills, values and experience required to secure employment in healthcare.

The pre-employment programmes that SfHANW run in partnership with the JCP are important as it enables employers to meet their public health and citizen agenda targets. Removing barriers to learning and employment and helping to tackle inequality and poverty.

All the programmes are run jointly with the JCP and utilises local training providers. Read the case study to learn more about how they implemented the programmes.
