The Commission on Apprenticeships – Call for Evidence
We'd like to hear from you.
The think-tank Demos has recently launched The Commission on Apprenticeships to explore how to increase the number of high-quality apprenticeships in the UK. As the voice of employers across the NHS, we’ve been invited to submit to their recent call for evidence, which will feed into recommendations to be made to national and local policymakers.
Make sure your voice is heard by feeding in your views in relation to the following questions:
- In light of the Government’s implementation of the Richard Review proposals, what will be the outstanding challenges for apprenticeships policy in the future?
- How might employers be encourage to commit more funding and resources to apprenticeships?
- How might the education and training system be better able to deliver more high quality apprenticeships? And adapt to changing skills needs in the future?
- How can a greater number of higher level apprenticeships be encouraged? What is the role of the higher education sector in this?
We welcome a broad range of views and will ensure these are taken into account when submitting our response to the consultation. To make your voice heard, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 5 September 2014.
