Health workforce migration between New Zealand and the UK -free seminar

29 / 8 / 2014 Midnight

The NZ-UK Link Foundation, in conjunction with the University of London's School of Advanced Study (SAS) have announced Robin Gauld as the recipient of the 2014 visiting professorship.

Professor Gauld will be delivering a series of four lectures examining the movement of healthcare professionals between New Zealand and the UK - looking at the roles migrant professionals play in defining and shaping healthcare in their adopted countries.

The NHS Employers organisation is pleased to be hosting the third lecture in the series, exploring the benefits of health workforce migration between New Zealand and the UK.

Chaired by Sue Covill, Director at NHS Employers, the seminar will look at the types of skills migrant healthcare professionals bring, how these are integrated within their adoptive country and the skills they obtain from their new environment.
