Members of Unite in the NHS have voted to take strike action along with other health unions, on Monday 13 October.

As well as the four hours of strike action between 7am to 11am, Unite members in England will be working to rule and adhering to the 37.5 hour week between 13 October and 9 November. Its ambulance staff will also impose an overtime ban in their respective trusts between 13-19 October.

Members in England voted by a 62 per cent margin in favour of strike action and by 77 per cent for industrial action short of a strike.

You can find out more about the proposed action on our industrial action web pages, and our new industrial action resources for employers aim to help you prepare.
