Healthcare Science Week 2015 takes place from 13 to 22 March and is a fantastic opportunity to provide students, their families, fellow scientists and patients with insight into the work of the profession.
It provides you with an opportunity to educate and excite the scientific workforce of the future. Why not give people in your local community the chance to learn what scientists really do and the vital role they play in patient care and treatment. Scientific techniques and roles are developing rapidly and exciting times lie ahead with the likes of genomics making possible what once seemed impossible!
How to get involved
Now is the time to start planning your local activity. There are lots of ways to get involved, you could have a stand in a public area of your trust, give a presentation in a school or college, or invite some school and college students into one of your healthcare science departments.
