Plans are already underway for the NHS Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Week 2015.
Help your staff and organisations participate in the week with a suite of free resources from NHS Employers. We are now preparing a range of products that you can use to promote the week. These will include an:
- interactive map to promote organisations activities
- podcasts and blogs
- use of #eqw2015 to capture our social media activity
- posters and a communications toolkit with all the key information.
The theme for this year will about Linking Our Thinking - focusing on how diversity of thought can contribute to addressing and solving problems for all under-represented and disadvantaged groups and individuals within the workplace.
Whether this is the first time your organisation is getting involved or you've been part of the week from the start four years ago, we are grateful for your support and enthusiasm to support the week. It is fast becoming an opportunity for NHS organisations to raise their equality and diversity profile and share their achievements and priorities. The activites planned between Monday 11 May and Friday 15 May will provide you with guidance, support and tips on how to start, develop and maintain the equality and diversity agenda in your workplace.
