Since the launch of Compassion in Practice in 2012, the programme has developed and produced numerous pieces of work supporting the improvement of the way we treat and care for patients, families and carers and our colleagues.
This exclusive webinar for Care Makers will highlight some of the work that has been completed and how Care Makers have a central role as ambassadors in sharing this work throughout the final year of the programme and beyond.
Chaired by Compassion in Practice Lead, Marie Batey, the session will look at practical examples of how the 6Cs have been implemented and made a difference to patients, families, carers and staff; how the work of the Action Areas will be scaled up and spread; and how the role of the Care Makers is pivotal to the future of the 6Cs.
Norah Flood, Care Maker and Clinical Director at 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will discuss how her trust has embraced the 6Cs through the launch of their ‘Culture of Care’ strategy. Norah will also share some of her own experiences of implementing the 6Cs as a Care Maker.
