NHS Employers and the NHS Leadership Academy have recently agreed their Do OD top five priorities for 2015/16. The priorities were set following discussions with the OD community, these discussions really helped the team understand what's on the agenda for OD practitioners and where support may be needed. These priorities will support the Five Year Forward View and the challenges that are happening now and in the future.
The top priorities are:
- systems thinking
- building OD capability
- culture change
- evaluating OD.
The Do OD team have consulted with the Do OD Steering Group, as well as with individuals and groups and the feedback has been positive. The team will be working closely with the OD community and the LDPs to take these workstreams forward, modelling the OD values of participation, co-creation and efficacy building.
