‘Working Better for Patients: Diversity and Inclusion in the NHS’ conference will be hosted by NHS Employers in the early autumn.
On Wednesday 23 September 2015 at The Congress Centre, London delegates will gather to listen to international speakers and UK experts who will, through interactive, no powerpoint, sessions share a range of different views and perspectives on equality, diversity and inclusion. Conference topics will centre around the four themes of:
- diverse thinking
- diverse data
- diverse engagement
- diverse representation.
Delegates will gain valuable insights from healthcare and business leaders who have successfully implemented and are reaping the benefits of inclusive workforce practices, and gain practical examples of how to take this forward in their own organisations. The conference will also explore the important role of diverse leadership and inclusive workforce practices in health and care and how we can make real progress from diversity to inclusion for the benefit of both staff and patients.
Bookings are now being taken and places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. The conference will be chaired by renowned broadcaster and writer Simon Fanshawe.
